I made the project “Rhino” in order to improve my skills “Hair and Fur” in Maya. I was inspired from the concept “Rhinox” of one of my favorite concept Artists Mr. Dan Scott. The project should come close as much as possible to the original concept, but in the same time, it should contain a certain personal touch. I made the project “Rhino” in my spare time, and it took approximately three weeks. Behind the project there are no financial reasons, but only practice and exercise reasons.
The low poly, the uv Maps and the Hair and Fur have been made in Maya. The high poly and the texture have been made in ZBrush. The rendering has been made with Mental Ray in Maya, the post-production in Photoshop.
